iOS 5 update bricked my iPod Touch | Apple – CNET News Reading all the posts on this forum I am constantly amazed at how a similar hw/sw issue on a BB device will lead people to label it as useless or a failure or better still start linking it to the performance of the company and its CEOs… it often, as they write, is enough to make them jump ship to another manufacturer. All tech has issues, its the nature if the beast no matter who makes it…seems RIM is held to a different set of standards by people (especially CNET journalists who report on iErrors as routine bugs to be fixed but at the same time will label a similar issue in a BB device as a critical failure which is the symptom of a supposedly failing company.) Odd indeed.
