Have an unbranded storm, unlocked, previously on some South American carrier. Anyway, I have a prepay T mobile chip and can get no data transfer, tells me I need a wifi connection.

I noticed another “white screen” thread but my situation is slightly different in that I did drop my phone. The phone still functioned as normal (make/accept calls, receive texts) with the exception of the white screen. I did disassemble the phone and found the LCD model and purchased the matching one from gadgetfixing (ebay).
