I noticed another “white screen” thread but my situation is slightly different in that I did drop my phone. The phone still functioned as normal (make/accept calls, receive texts) with the exception of the white screen. I did disassemble the phone and found the LCD model and purchased the matching one from gadgetfixing (ebay).
Just back from a 3-day conference in DC with my playbook. For the most part worked well, and was great having the PDF handouts loaded on the PB rather than having to stare either at paper or a distant screen.

As the title says, my media files won’t show on my BlackBerry but they will on my PC. I’ve taken out the battery, memory card & (even though irrelevant) my sim card. I deleted a file something along the name of ‘trashes’, by accident, and have a strong feeling that the problem lies with that.
